The press release read in the demonstration held in front of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CPT), said “The state’s total attack policy against revolutionary and patriotic forces continues as a physical and psychological war over the bodies of martyred revolutionaries. Our bodies are not handed over to their families for weeks and months on the grounds that they do not have body integrity and DNA tests will be performed, they are buried in the cemetery of the orphans, and the raging attacks of the fascist dictatorship have been implemented through funeral ceremonies, and a policy of pressure, torture and intimidation is applied to families who lost their children. We will not be silent in the face of fascism’s torture and massacre policies, we will wage our struggle and embrace those who are immortal for the revolutionary struggle ”.
Speaking on behalf of Union of Socialist Women Europe at the demonstration says, “The Fascist Palace regime continues its attacks on revolutionaries and socialists. The sexist attacks on the bodies of Ekin Wan’s, Yeliz Erbay and Şirin Öter yesterday, were carried out against our comrades Fadime Çakıl, Gökçe Kurban, Erol Volkan İldem and Ali Kemal Yılmaz today. We never accept the torture of our comrades’ bodies. Their lives, which are monuments of honor, will guide us ”.
In his speech, the Partizan representative said, “We will follow the footsteps of our martyrs and carry the victory of revolution and socialism to our peoples.”The demonstration ended with the slogans “Long live revolutionary solidarity”, “Down with fascist dictatorship”, “Long live the people’s war”, “Şehid namırın”.
